Mamas for Mamas is a National registered charity with a local Branch right here in Red Deer. Mamas for Mamas supports families, helping them access resources and services with programs for free such as our Karma Market Store, Holiday programs, Health and Wellness, and Food programs. Our mission is to use innovative approaches to financial barriers facing families by embracing the philosophy of ‘giving a hand up, not a handout.’ In Central Alberta area last year, we supported 50 families with our Holiday hampers, 40 families through our Back-to-School Program and annually served over 200 families at our locations Storefront. We are growing quickly and are looking toward to another year of working within the community and supporting families through our fundraising efforts.
